is the ride harder or softer than stock? Where'd you get them, where'd you get them installed?

it's alot softer than stock...i got them @ DB motorsport in Chino Hills...i live in O.C. but it was worth the drive there....they have a nice facility... ask for Jody or Mike.

Tell them Alex sent ya... they'll hook u up for $200 installed with Lifetime warranty (manufacturer warranty) against defect. I was their first scion customer... felt like a guinea pig..but worked out great....i love my ride now...

Does lowering your car void the warranty in anyway?

thx yall for all the compliments...

as for the warranty...i do not believe it voids the total warranty...unless it's suspension related...and worse comes to worst..u can always put ur stock springs back on b4 u head out to the dealer...

just as long it doesn't void my drivetrain..i'm happy.

as for the rims...it's actually 215/45/17 ...yes..17s...i wanted 18s but the ride was abit too bumpy for my taste...i drive alot daily and i need that extra cushion between the rim and road.

i just got my JDM bB emblem from Eric... i put those on today...and it looks tite. i'll post some more pix later...

i'm now waiting for JDM rear spoiler...

well damn then - those 17's look niiiice with it lowered like that. I got 17s too but they look small with it at the stock height. Im a big noob when it comes to dumpin my ride, so im just afraid Ill have to be all SLOW when driving up on driveways and speedbumps, etc. 2" aint THAT low tho, right?

NO way that is 17". That looks insanely bigger for some reason. The ride looks great man. I hope I can find wheels that compliment my blue B as good as it did yours. Great job.

yeah... the 2" drop makes a big difference on the look of the rims...especially on 17s...people do get surprise when they found out i have 17s and not 18s.

as for the drop...i have no problem going over speed bumps straght on... i just slow down abit more on dips...not that i have to... but i like to be cautious...

the springs seem to have settled abit more...and seems to be lower than 2" actually...almost 2.25" in front maybe..but not sure...

i like the drop cuz the front is abit lower looking almost level with the rear..

if u go with GoldLine...go to DB motorsports...they'll hook u up...

i just spoke with one of TSW member last night at the meet, and he has a prototype GoldLines...and he paid $199 just for the springs... not to mention...he said some places have been selling the GoldLines for $240 (just the springs)...

DB will do it for $200 professionally installed...

when you do a 2" drop do you need to cut the bump stops? if so, do they do that at DB motorsports?

i have heard that there is a danger of the struts bottoming out if it is dropped 2"...

thanks!

Yes, the guys at DB motorsports know what they're doing...they do offer to cut the bumpstop...Jody actually performed the task on mine ...he split the bumpstop by half. My struts perform very well...never bottomed out.

Just go ask for Mike or Jody , tell them that Alex sent ya from Scionlife.

The $200 deal is a promotional thing i believe...take advantage of it..cuz once GoldLine becomes mainstream for scion...the cost will go up.
