what size and offset are your wheels?

 

They're 18x7.5 w/40mm offset......

 

interesting. did you use longer bolts also for the lugs?

 

you don't need longer bolts for the lugs...

they are hub spacers, they move the entire hub assy. out - so you can use the stock lugs and everything, much more solid and much safer than using wheel spacers.

i'm gonna pick me up a set too with my +35 offset in the back, i should get pretty flush i think!

how hard is it to install it? do i need a torque wrench? if so what is the recommended torque? sorry just for safety issue, i'm actually thinking of getting a pair. $60 shipped is a verry good price compare to what H&R's spacer cost.

very easy install, and yeah you need a torque wrench and I think it was 46lbs... and the price was just right IMO

 

Looks like it was pushed out about 1/2 inch, judging from the rear shot. Although getting the same shot is almost impossible, i can see that the wheel now touches the outer lip on the side skirts. I would say that anything is better then nothing. IM definately interested, anyone know when they will make the 15MM spacer availible?

 

Yes, it's very hard to get the same shot. I took multiple pictures, and just posted the closest ones I had of each other. It could still use another 5mm imo.

10mm is just shy of 2/5th's of an inch - ALMOST a 1/2 inch.

--and no, I'm not bashing the spacers - I have a set of them as well - from Van - nice guy - even held them for me for 2 weeks after I paid for them becuase I was (still am) on vacation and didn't want them sitting on my porch while I was out of state. Reccomended guy and company.

yeah hahajoey, that looks tight....I'm already have adapters, although those One Ton Garage adapters seem the ultimate way to do it and that cost wow!....looks like I'm with the rest of ya....damn! another $60.00 bucks......guess I have to wait another 2 weeks for custom plates. here's my adapter pic

Ok, i couldnt take it anymore, so i ordered mine last night. They ship Monday, and i should have them installed by the 4th when i go attend Scion VIP #2. I cant wait. Of course, now MUNCH has to have them too ..... grrrrrrrrrr.

Dont sweat it MUNCH, its all good. I like the fact that more people share their ideas here then they ever did on NEON.org. Not as much bashing and BS going on here. I FEEL A GROUP HUG COMMON ON .....

 

Update ... i just installed the shims .. no sweat. I had both sides on and buttoned up in just over a half an hour. Having an air compressor with impact wrench and air socket made it that much easier. The passenger side looks great, but the drivers side needs another 3MM or so to match. I wonder why Scion built these xB like that? I know i have seen several posts here about it, but i finally saw it for the first time today.

Van at One Ton Garge was a great help, and constantly stayed in touch with answers and stuff. Great seller, great product. THANKS VAN.

BTW ... the only thing i couldnt get right away was the removal of the ABS lead to the sensor itself. If you look at the pic provided in the instructions, note the flat head screw driver is all the way at the top of the insert for the removal. Press down and it pops right off. I was underneath the tab for the longest time, then i finally got it.

 

Got my shims in the mail today... can't wait to put 'em on.
