Can anyone tell me if 225 50 15 will fit on 15x7 weedsport tc 007 wheels. I have trd springs. Right now I have 205 50 15 but I have to much space from the tire to the fender. Any feedback would be help, otherwise I guess I will just have to buy them and mount them and see if they rub? Eddy

 

225/50/15 on a 7" wide should work out fine...Whats the offset?

 

why dont you just run spacers instead of bigger tires?

225 is wide as all hell and will probably rub if you have any drop at all.

 

I have same questions, do the 205's handle any better than the stock 185's? Also please let me know how those 225's work if you get them. I'll be trying them next week if I can find some local.

 

205's or 215's both handle better than puny 185's. but the wider you go the more rolling resistance and much more likely to rub.

 

The 205 50 15 handles better than the stock 185 60 15. The only problem is 205 50 15 is only 23 inch in height the compared to the stock 185 60 15 is 23.7 inches. Even with the trd springs their is to much space from the fender lip to the top of the tire. The 225 50 15 is 23.9 so it will take care of that and should look much better.
Now their will be No space but the 225 is 9.2 inch wide compared to the 205 is 8.4 so I will let you guys know if it rubs. I will be shocked if it works. I will put back the stock springs so I can fit the 225 50 15 because I want to run the bf goodrich g force drag tire in that size. With my kaaz lsd and the 225 50 15 I should have enuff traction.

lol You'll be fine. Except I don't know about going that wide, i'd probably go with maybe 225/40or 45/15. I have 225/45/16 on my c-one rims and they look amazing. Great fitment and traction as well. Good luck. You'll have NO rubbing problems or anything like that

 

Bfgoodrich doesn't make a 225/40/15 or a 225/45/15 in the g force drag tire. Thats why Iam going to try to stuff a 225/ 50 /15 on my 15x7 wheel. As far as power goes Iam going to hit the dyno in the next couple of weeks then see what I can do at the track.

You should try Azenis's - from Falken. Their a little cheaper and imo better then gforce. But to each his own.

 

i see you don't know how much power but what mods do you have. 225's are MEATY as all hell

 

I should put out 172hp and 178 torque when I hit the dyno. Just a guess I would like to beat those ZPI numbers but my tune up will be on the safe side not on the edge. Plus I will run a cat with a full exuast system so hard to compare numbers.

Too many mods to list, But I can tell you I have two poweradders.
When I change out the engine internals next month, I will add some more power and hope to crank out 197hp and 203 torque. Has anyone had a x/b or x/a dyno over 200whp?
Who has the record ZPI at 184.5hp 171 torque?

 

believe so. i for one don't trust zpi's numbers but yep.

must be a lot of money in that motor.... sare mods smewhere many will be interested .

 

Yeah meaty tires 225's are but they fill out the gaps just right. lol
