Default 18" trd wheel option question

those who have the 18" TRD wheel option, how long did it take you to get them? do they put them on at the port of entry, or does the dealer do it? do they also then change the speedometer for you? i just want want to wait like 6 weeks to get my XB. any responses would be awesome. thanks.

Had to wait a week for my set since they were on back order. They were put on at the dealership along with my springs.

As far as I know they did not change the speedo or do an alignment.

But i love 'em plan on keeping that set for a long time.

One thing, if you get the TRD rims, there's a little metal bracket that gets mounted by the wheel to keep the ABS line from interfering with a flat tire. Without them, when a tire goes flat and shreds [and with those rims, it will shred], the tire will rip the ABS sensor and/or brake lines off the brake assembly and create even more of a headache than just replacing a $200 tire.

That's something you might not get from an eBay auction.

the 18" trd's arent worth it. even if your financing. cuse you dont own the wheels, the bank does. so you cant sell them. and you may grow tired of them.

i thought they were discontinued??
