Default Ok I screwed up and need your help

I tried searching but nothing really to help me.
I did find out that I got the wrong tire for my box.

Im running 225/40/18 on my box, everything was cool when i was riding alone,
but I just had my friends in the car and now im having crazy rubbing issues.

With my search I found out the tire is too big for my ride
So my question is besides getting new tires, cause really I dont have that much cash left. Is what can I do.?

sounds like you are riding a little lower than stock?????? about 2 inches?????they make spring spacers that go between the springs in the rear.......you could try that or buy new springs to raise it up a bit

The cheapest option is to ride solo. J/K

I have 18's on my box and the front tires rub when I turn to the left. You might have to go with 17's depending on your lowering springs. Only other options are different springs, different rims or go get some coilovers.

You can trim away some of the plastic in the wheel well. That's what I did when I had 225/40/18... I was dropped on Hotchkis springs, and even rolling 4 deep, the rubbing wasn't that bad. Must be the wrong size rim or offset too...

This is what I have

Stock Springs for now.
My rims are 18x7.5 ET 45 on 225/40/18

I get slight rubbing on full lock alone in the car.
When I rode today with just 3 people in the car Bumps, and turns we were rubbing.
Can anything really help the rubbing?

I mean I can trim the wheel well, but I think that I will still rub after I drop the box.
So im thinking that I will need to sell the tires and get 215/35s

If anyone knows how I may be able to keep my tires. Please let me know
