OT: randode - so you still do installs for TSW members? just wondering since that'll be a great incentive for me to join TSW. Thanks!

Isn't that the same thing, $40? $40 team-$40 install. I doubt they care about the team if all they want are free installs but who cares, it's only $40. Time is money. That's why I do one spring in half an hour and charge $50/hr

hey Randode

do you cut the bump stops on drops over 1.75"? i have seen it posted that it should be done to avoid bottoming out and possibly damaging the struts?

thanks a lot!

i dont think its necessary to cut them. Ive never felt my car (2" drop) bottom out. It will not hurt the strut if it bottoms out on an uncut stop. If you cut too much and the strut over compresses, then it could be a problem.

I don't think the whole $40 is going to randy...

$40 is cheap considering most places charge $70-$80.

Default Anybody available this weekend for a spring install?

I've called the places around town and most of them have never ever heard of a Scion. So I'm a bit wary about a place that has no experience, not to mention they quoted me prices anywhere from 120-250 dollars just for a spring install! I just bought some Goldline springs for my xA and I happen to have the weekend off of work. I live in Fresno (central cal) and I'm willing to go North or South so if anybody could help me with a spring install I would be grateful. Willing to pay whatever the reasonable rate is, so please lemme know. Mail me at Loqheed@tmail.com and I'll reply immediately (email goes directly to my phone).
