TORRANCE, Calif., Aug. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Toyota Motor Sales (TMS),
U.S.A., Inc., announced manufacturer's suggested retail prices (MSRP) today
for the 2007 model year Avalon, Camry, Prius, Yaris, RAV4, FJ Cruiser,
Sequoia, Tacoma and Highlander.
Avalon, the flagship of the Toyota passenger car lineup, continues to
set the standard for performance, luxury, and value in its class. Safety is
enhanced on the Avalon with the addition of a Tire Pressure Monitoring
System (TPMS) as standard equipment for 2007. The base MSRP for the Avalon
ranges from $26,875 for the XL grade to $34,065 for the Limited grade. The
total Avalon average MSRP increases $100 or 0.3 percent.
Camry, the best-selling car in America four years running and for eight
of the past nine years redefines global standards for comfort, performance
and design. The base MSRP for the 2007 Camry sedan ranges from $18,270 for
the CE grade with a four-cylinder engine and six-speed manual transmission
to $27,820 for the premium XLE grade with a V6 engine and five-speed
automatic transmission. Camry Hybrid pricing remains unchanged at a base
MSRP of $25,900. Overall, the Camry sedan combined base MSRP increases by
$250, or 1.2 percent. Full federal hybrid tax credit will be available for
purchases completed through September 2006. The approved credit amount for
Camry Hybrid is $2,600.
The price adjustment for the 2007 Camry will take effect with vehicles
produced on, or after August 28 for U.S. built models. For Camry models
sourced from Japan, the new pricing is effective with vessels arriving on,
or after September 2.
The Prius Hybrid, the most fuel-efficient midsize car in America, gains
driver and passenger front seat-mounted side airbags, plus front and rear
side curtain airbags as standard equipment for 2007. The base MSRP for the
Prius starts at $22,175, which is an increase of $450 or 2.1 percent. Full
tax credit will be available for purchases completed through September
2006. The approved credit amount for Prius Hybrid is $3,150.
Also arriving in August is the new 2007 Prius Touring Edition. The
Touring Edition adds several sporty exterior enhancements including 16-inch
alloy wheels, a larger rear spoiler, High Intensity Discharge (HID)
headlamps and foglamps. A tuned suspension as standard equipment will
enhance vehicle handling without impacting its ride comfort. The Touring
Edition will carry a MSRP of $23,070.
The 2007 Yaris Liftback and Sedan receive an average price increase of
$100, or 0.8 percent. Yaris pricing is effective in early September. The
Yaris Liftback with a five-speed manual transmission carries a base MSRP of
$11,050 and $11,925 for the Sedan with five-speed manual transmission.
The RAV4 Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) adds interior and safety
enhancements for 2007. All models receive driver and front passenger
seat-mounted side airbags and two row side curtain airbags with roll-over
sensor as standard equipment. Inside, the RAV4 is now available, as an
option, with a JBL audio system with Bluetooth(R) capability and steering
wheel mounted controls. RAV4 2WD models carry a base MSRP that ranges from
$20,850 for the base grade four-cylinder to $25,020 for the Limited V6. The
base MSRP for the RAV4 4WD ranges from $22,250 for the base grade with a
four-cylinder to $26,420 for the Limited V6. Total RAV4 average MSRP
increases $550 or 2.4 percent.
The Sequoia full-size SUV gains several enhancements for 2007. The SR5
grade receives color-keyed grille while the Limited grade receives chrome
rear view mirrors. All grades now receive standard driver and front
passenger seat-mounted side airbags and two row side curtain airbag. For
2007, Sequoia is also available with an Appearance Package which includes
seven passenger seating configuration, 16-inch sport alloy wheels, fog
lamps, and skid plates.
The Sequoia 2WD carries a base MSRP that ranges from $33,160 for SR5 to
$45,660 for Limited 4WD. Total Sequoia average MSRP increases $345 or 0.9
percent.
For 2007, the Highlander mid-size SUV will add safety enhancements and
significant additional value. All Highlander gas models will receive driver
and front passenger seat-mounted side airbags and front and second row side
curtain airbags with roll-over sensor as standard equipment. In addition,
the 2007, Highlander offers new and value oriented Extra Value Packages
(EVPs). The base MSRP for conventional Highlander models range from $24,880
for the 2WD four-cylinder model to $32,210 for the 4WD Limited V6 model.
Total Highlander average MSRP increase is $350 or 1.3 percent.
Highlander Hybrid will offer two-row models for both base and Limited
grades for 2007. The base MSRP ranges from $32,490 for the 2WD base two-row
model to $36,550 for the 4WD Limited three-row model. For 2007, highlander
Hybrid also offers new and value oriented EVPs. Full federal hybrid tax
credit will be available for purchases completed through September 2006.
The approved credit amount for Highlander Hybrid is $2,600.
The Tacoma compact pickup truck is now available with a Vehicle
Stability Control (VSC) off-switch and roll sensing side curtain airbag
off-switch when VSC or CSA option is selected. The base MSRP for the Tacoma
Regular Cab ranges from $14,080 for the 4x2 four-cylinder with a manual
transmission to $18,025 for the 4x4 four-cylinder with a manual
transmission. Tacoma Access Cab models carry a base MSRP of $17,520 for the
4x2 four-cylinder with manual transmission, while the 4x4 V6 with an
automatic transmission carries a base MSRP of $23,790.
Tacoma Double Cab models carry a base MSRP of $22,340 for the PreRunner
V6 with an automatic transmission to $25,915 for the 4x4 V6 long bed with
an automatic transmission. Total average Tacoma (4x2 and 4x4) price
increase $100, or 0.5 percent.
The FJ Cruiser, the most capable off road SUV in the Toyota line-up,
receives an increase of $200 or 0.9 percent with a base MSRP of $21,910 for
the 2WD automatic to $23,500 for the 4WD automatic.
