I ordered the 17in with 205/40/17 tires. i also picked up som hubcentric rings. How much are spacers and are they easy to put on??? i heard about 10mm would be a good choice? Is it that the wheel are just tucked in towards the body too much or is there actualy problems without them? I want them to look flush with the fenders or close to it. i can't wait until they get here. i plan on maybe in the future dropping it with trd springs but not for awhile. Let me know what you guys think?

i got them from victoriatires.com i got wheels, tires, lugs, hub rings, mounted, balanced for 780 shipped.

 

I think the OTG spacers are like $60, and they are very easy to do. i did it by myself in 45 min.

 

how do they attach??? do the just go behind the wheel before the hub??? do you have a link to a website that you can order there???

No, the back dosen't have calipers, but you do have to take the hub assembly off.

 

Those are some nice wheels. I roll with some sportmax also.

no on the back...because the back sits more than 5mm in than the front, so they would still be inset compared to the front. he was saying 15mm on the back

I just bought some OTG 10mm hub spacers from Van. They're now $70 a set. Still not a bad price for some good quality hardware and super fast shipping.

 

Hope you can still change tire size. Tire rack says 205/40/17's are under weight rated for the xB. When I had that size I had problems cutting the sidewalls. The right size is either 215/40 or 205/45 or 215/45. Not 205/40. Just a heads up bro.

 

why would that cause a problem with the sidewalls when the mentioned tires are actually bigger? they are close enough. a 205/45/17 actually looks worse apparently if you look on 1010tires.com
