Default VSC and TRAC Lights On

After recently having my 2004 Scion Xb inspected and the oil changed, the VSC and TRAC idiot lights came on. I had the codes scanned and they came up as C1210/ Zero Point Calibration of Yaw Rate Sensor Undone and C1336/ Zero Point Calibration of Deceleration Sensor Undone. Since then, my traction control does not work and the wheels spin excessively.

Any ideas on what might have caused these codes to be thrown and what I can do to remedy the situation?

You need to do a search. This question comes up at least once or twice a month:

There are several reasons for this problem. Mine was corrected when I had my alternator replaced.

Thanks, but I checked all other similar posts that deal with VSC and TRAC do not address the specific codes my vehicle is exhibiting.

Last week my VSC, TRAC & Check Engine lights came on for no apparent reason. I reset the ECU (tech section) and the lights have not come back on and the car is running fine. I did not have the code read before I reset the ECU so I don't know what made them come on. Hope this helps.

The same thing happened to me, took it to the dealer for a total of 5 times in 2 weeks before they got it right. It turned out to be I needed a new charcoal canister and new gas cap, since that was taken care of I've had zero problems.Good luck!
