I have a 05 xB. When I turn my traction control off my steering gets way squirrly. Does this happen to anyone else. I have the TRD 18" wheels with Pirelli tires.

Ah---why take off the traction control?

 

Ironically enough, you should turn the traction control off if you're stuck in a ditch or something like that: "When getting the vehicle out of mud or newly fallen snow, etc., turn off the traction control system. This system that controls engine performance interferes with the process of freeing your wheels."

But otherwise, yeah - why turn it off?

 

I turn it off because my xB handles better with it off.

 

if it handles better with it off, there's something wrong with it

 

Waitaminnit - your first post says your "steering gets way squirrely", then you say it handles better. Squirrely = better handling?
