Been waiting for two months because FedEx lost one of the boxes, but new wheels are on.
Konig Imagine 15x8 et20 (BMW E30 fitment) wheels with Kuhmo 195/50 front and 205/50 rear- Gonna drop the front another inch so I wanted staggered tires, looks like alot of gap right now tho. Still getting used to how much smaller they look versus my old wheels. Can't argue with saving 14 lbs per corner however
Acceleration and decceleration noticably improved, car feels 200 pounds lighter. I was running somewhat oversized tires before so that also makes this setup seem faster because of gearing...
I'm running OTG 10mm shims in the back and when I first threw the wheels on I also had 5mm spacers back there too; major rubbing from the right rear on my first turn. Without 5mm's still some rubbing over dips etc, so I see some fender rolling in my future.
I'm thinking about powdercoating the polished lips red... too crazy?
Pix (a little hazy because it was starting to rain)-
