Default New England area Scion Sitings?

ok, Let's see if we can get a thread going for Scion Sitings here in MA, NH, VT, RI, CT & ME.

I had two today at the Patriots game in Foxboro, MA.

1) Azure Pearl tC, flying like a maniac north bound on 495 near exit 12 & 13, about 11am. Dude was going 90+, weaving in and out of heavy traffic, diving from lane 1 to lane 3. Come on, you make all of us look bad when you drive like an a$$hole.

2) Black Sand Pearl tC, leaving the Foxboro parking lot after the game. Pedistal Spoiler, NE Pats plate, Scuba Diving Liscense plate frame. Driven by a woman near MY AGE!! YEAH!!!!

I already made a thread called "Scion Sightings"...it was a sticky for a while...and then for some reason it was "unstickied" But anyway.....do we really need another thread for this? My thread should still be on the first or second page of : Forum Index -> Regional - Northeast -> Regional - Northeast

CapeCod, are you often at the Pats games? My NBM will usually be at the back of E2, not sure where you normally park.

As for sightings, I saw an FM on Arlington St in Copley with shaved tC emblem a couple days back, and a BCP (Cherry?) tC at a Hess gas station in Cambridge last night.

xBs and xAs are everywhere, but the tC seems more rare.

Haha, don't get me wrong, I like all the Scions. In fact, I'm trying to convince my buddy to get an xB, and I think he might do it!

I'm also a Clair Scion customer - though I'm debating on removing their advertising plates. I wanted to get a Pats one but haven't found one I like.

Actually, to stay on topic, I remember seeing another NBM after the 9/10/06 game vs Bills on 95N around exit 11. I wanna say he had the s2000 antenna too (I have one) which is what caught my eye - aside from being an identical car. But I have 35% tint and I don't think he/she had any.

I see a lot of Scions around the Hyannis area, all models. I notice the xB more because I drive one and because they are different. I don't want there to be too many around, we will lose our exclusiveness. It seems that Toyota missed their goal of ownership with the xB. Most of them around here are driven by people 40 and up. I'm an old phart that has fun just driving the thing around town, as fast as possible, especially around rotaries. This afternoon I'm going up to Kingston and buy a rear sway bar.

I was the one you spotted that started that thread (woohoo!), but yeah it has gone way beyond this area. Most all of the recent posts are from Jersey, PA, etc. I agree we should have our own - and why not?
I passed a white tC getting on the Pike at the 146 toll yesterday while I was getting off, about 5:45 PM I think. Anybody here?
I've also seen a silver tC with Florida plates twice, heading east in the morning (6:45?) on my commute in to Newton from Sutton (on the Pike also). It was a girl, and she didn't look over, even though we were side by side multiple times. Where's the love?

I hear ya - I don't even like anyone to see mine with a little dirt on it, let alone damaged!

Gonna try - what's the deal if the rain keeps up? Channel 7 says it should clear out in the afternoon, but the weather channel says it will last into the night.
Is anybody meeting up anywhere, or just at the track?

I'm hooking up with watcher (tom) at 495 and 95 north. Take my cell number off my signature, and We can all go up together.

I'm going with Channel 7, but I'll call Epping tomorrow

Alright - I work in Newton, so I'll be going from there - 95/128 at Rt 20 up to 93. We'll just have to see how the rain plays out.
