Default Need Better Handling In Bad Weather...Help?

I travel freeway 90% of the year and I just bought an XB... I don't know how they handle in the snow but if they aren't very good is there anyway to help this? Also in the rain it hydroplanes really easy...

Keep in mind I live in Park City Utah and the snow is horrible!!

I live in Syracuse, NY, so I'm a tad concerned about winter performance as well (especially as I traded in my AWD Outback w/ GoodYear Triple-treads for the xB).

I read somewhere else in the forums about recommending Nokian Hakkapeliitta's for the xB.

Scandinavian's would seem to know a little about driving in snow.

But I want to see how the stocker's handle before I drop any more cash on tires.

inversed - Just shell out some money for some snow tires on steel wheels. That's what i did and they work out real well during winters.

But then again i head to the slopes and need them to get there and back home.
