Default Fitting tires/wheels on an xB

I am a newbie to modding cars, and plan to get Enkei RZ-5's in 17.0" by 7.0". I know that 7.0" won't rub from reading the sticky, but would I would like help with is choosing a good set of tires for everyday commuting. I do not plan to upgrade the powertrain.

Also, I am dropping the box 2.0" with some lowering springs, I am not sure if this would affect the wheel/tire combo I am going to buy ahead of time.

Thanks.
