Default Fitment Question

Okay, I have a dumb question on fitment, ive done reading searching etc..but i just need to SURE this will work because i have a very short window to make sure everything will work. okay i am going to be running some temp wheels for a show, 18x8 +38. I need to be able to get the wheels out as FLUSH as possible. "hella flush" if you will. i have 215/35R18's on the rims. I also need to be able to clear the rotora big brakes up front. I have some 5mm spacers sitting next to me, i dont have the car back from the body shop yet so i cant test fit and i just want to make sure it will work. i am also going to run tanabe lowering springs. thx!

i run 18 x 7 38mm offset with 215/35/18 and it sits almost flush. 18 x 8 38mm might be too much. 18 x 8 42mm or 40mm maybe. I could be off though. Its hard to tell...so many people are able to run crazy sizes that you wouldnt think possible in here. I have heard of people running 20's with a 2" drop with no cutting. I dont know if thats true but my local rim shop is who told me they have seen it.

Sounds like it should rub to me. It might work if it was sitting stock height tho.

You can't get "Hella Flush" without rubbing (the fender). I had 17x8 +25, and i still wasn't quite flush.

FYI, the Fabuolus bB is running 18x8.5, 9.5 +18. Now that, my friend, is Hella Flush.

I think the design of the wheel will really affect how it fits with your BBK. If it's just temporary for the show, I'd just run some fat spacers (15-25mm) at the show. You'll be "Pretty Darn Flush" and should take care of you BBK as well....HTH

oh yea i know ill rub for sure when im "HF", but i will put the spacers on when i get to the show thats easy. so ill probably need 15-25mm spacers to get them stuff out there all the way?

Yeah, something like 25 in back and 15 up front should do the trick.

You could probably go about 5mm more depending on your tastes. Then a little bit more if you can get some negative camber.
