Default installed tanabe 2" DF springs

pretty easy install, took me hour and half to do all 4, the tanabe springs came with new bump stops too. the rides a bit softer...i still have to wait for the springs to settle but as for now with the 17x7 work wheels with 205-40 tires, the front has a tite 3 finger gap and the rear has 2 finger gap from tires to fender measure, overall im happy with the springs, they are the pink colored tanabe springs...for pictures you can go to my site.

Nice wheels. Funny, the front looks deeper than the rear. Nice ride. Was that the first spring job you ever did?

Default thanks...

thats the first spring job i did on a scion, i've made coilovers for my 71 240z, shortened the struts and put shorter inserts for more shock travel, i might try making some coilovers for the scion later....dont have the time right now but eventually ill do it, just gotta do some measurements and fittings and it should be easy. the only problem i see with making the coilovers is finding the right top perch after that im ready to cut and weld....but install for the tanabe springs went really quick, the rear oh man took like 5 mins for both,,,,jack up the car high, unbolt the shock and have someone push the wheel lower to remove the spring and your done. the fronts a bit tricky but once you get one done the other is a piece of cake..take it easy all,,happy thanksgiving.

Default thanks..

no problems rubbing with the 17s...none at all..205-40 tires...actually ill be getting rid of the set on the car soon...just take huge bumps carefully, i hit only once because i didnt have any room for takin it diagonally...it was a huge speedbump. other than that all bumps have great clearance. i wanna drop the front a bit more to even out the drop but imma wait til the springs settle and see if it drops a bit more...thanks for the comps
