Default which springs are better

man its been awhile since ive been on the forums but i recently was thinkin about a decent suspension
well i was thinkin about the df210s and trd shocks
or the megan racing springs and the trd shocks

i would like to hear some inside point of views of these ideas
and i would like to hear some input on wut you guyz think of wut i should get

im looking for a stiffer ride for cornering ride can be a lil rough
the price rrange is about 6- 800 dollars to spend on suspension

any suggestions about shocks
im set on buying the megan racing springs

I have the megan racing springs. Just so you know, You will have a raked look on the xB (The rear slightly higher than the front). Less so if you have a sub in the back. Handling is better. I don't mind the stiffness, neither does my g/f.

The stock shocks will only last so long as my front struts may be going out soon. I would recommend Koni's all around, since they are adjustable.

Koni's will cost about 500 and the megan racing springs will cost 125 shipped depending. This will be in your price range.

I've driven to LA, SD, SF with the megan racing. You said you want good handling. The Megan Racing can't be beat. Of course you can go with H&R Race springs also.

Here are some pictures with that rake i'm talking about. There is no rake when you enter the car or if you have a passenger.

Here is another picture.

The xA is about 100 pounds lighter than the xB. But i don't think it'll make a difference in how the car looks.

The DF's will give a nice uniform drop on all 4's but they aren't stiff enough.... well for my tastes.

You may want to look into the H&R race. I believe they are very close to the megan specs.

but i want the drop like the megan gives you
cause the df210s is about 1.5" and the megans are 2 inches and 1.85 in the back

a little more than 2.0" with the df210's. NOT 1.5" You will be happier with the df's. Just read around. I have the HKS Sf5's. I just put on a friends df's and his car was the same height (considering tire size). Those two are the lowest drop you can get without goig coilovers or bags. Rides nice too.

if your budget is 600-800 then why dont you just get coilovers.
it'll be better than any spring and shock combination purchased separately.

also some coilovers like progress have adjustable height settings so if you dont like a certain height you can always lower it or raise it to your liking.

Here's a quick list of websites that carry koni's. You will have to get them for a 2000-2003 Toyota Echo (since the echo has the same suspension as ours). Don't worry ... they fit.

ltbmotorsports.com
ajusa.com
shox.com

those three have free shipping.
