Default Center bore?

I found a good deal on some 15x6.5, 4x100, 38 offset rims. I don't understand center bore. They are 73 mm. Will that work?

Also if I wanted a little wider tire to go on the 6.5, what size should I go to?

Yep. Just get some hubcentric rings to help center the wheel on the hub assemblies.

Default Sorry to bump, but...

I might buy some 17's from my dad that have a center bore of 72.6 and I understand the xB's is 54.1, so where do I go from there? Are the hubcentric rings necessary? Do you have to have them made specially for your own application? Is there a place you know of to get them? What exactly are they? Does anybody have a pic of them?

Also, the rims are 17x7 with an offset of +42... Does anyone know if that will cause any issues? Sorry for being a n00b, but all my wheel/tire knowledge is directly related to Subaru applications...

Thank you,
Dewey :D

I just purchased some rings for $14 shipped

Check e-bay item 180050427302

Those are the ones you'd want to get. I haven't installed mine yet but intend to very soon.

you can pick upi hubcentric rings at most local wheel shops as well.

it helps center your wheel to the hub when installing. It is something that is Def. recommended. and you don't have to worry about your wheels being off center. wobbling at high speeds and makeing your tires wear unevenly
