Default Dumb Question From New Xb Owner

Hi All, Just bought a 2005 Series 2.0 with 17" rims/tires ,H&R 29442 Springs(which I can't find on their website) and had a question

1. how do I improve the ride? , I read about Monroe shocks on here, but I am not interested in lowering car any more, just softening the ride

Thanks to any and all that reply

The Monroe shocks will not lower the xB, only soften the ride.

I have them... big (improved ride) difference.

Not another Old dude with a RS2 in California!!! I have heard the Monroes will soften the ride, but I am sticking with my Tein S Techs and stock shocks for now. Welcome to the site!!!

The ride is from springs and shocks. I don't have rims, just the stock steel. I have the Monroe Sensatrac all around and Tien H-techs. Ride much improved and sits better on the turns with the springs.

The part number for the rear Monroe's is 5987. I have the rear shocks and Tein H Techs all around on my '05 xB, big improvement. Do a search for the front Monroe part number.

Great to see another satisfied customer of the rear 5987 Monroes. Now if they would only come out with a proper replacement strut for the front of the xB/xA's.
