Chrome side skirts
Has anyone put these on their xB?:

If so, would you be willing to post a pic or two? I really like chrome and am considering purchasing the door handle kit and the skirts, but that pic on trd sparks' site isn't very flattering.
Thanks!

The only thing is that when you take off the OEM skirts and replace them with the chrome strip the front and rear lips look very outta place. The chrome with 1st gen bB gumpers would be hot for a retro-rod sorta look, but a pricy proposition...
Thanks for the info guys.
Boxer_Rebellion, by pricey, do you mean just to get the parts or would there also be body work involved? Also, if you have any info on what those look like and/or where to get them, I'd like to at least consider the option.
Thanks again.

These are a direct bolt on side skirt. If you are into the look, they are nice.
The down side of these (which everything has a down side).
The reduced area on the sides have cause a lot more paint chipping on the lower part of the body.
The paint match was not exact. Dang close, but I can see the difference.
I was concerned about rock dings in the stainless, but after a year of running them and 12k miles, no dings.
If you are into chrome... The single best subtle addition I did was the chrome weather stripping. These will completely replace the outside stripping/wiper on all 4 doors. These are not a 3m adhesive add on. This is a toyota replacement part. It's nice, trust me on that.
