Staggered or reverse staggered
Ok guys, lookin to buy some 002's, but was wondering, should i go staggered?? Post some pics if you got'em, doesnt have to be sportsmax.
Also is anyone rolling on a reversed staggered setup? Seeing as this car is fwd, is anyone got wider tires in the front and shinny in the back?? A fwd car with staggered wheels doesnt make so much sense to me, so i wonder if the look will over power the irony or if i should go with reversed staggered setup.
ALL XA,XB STAGGERED PICS WELCOME!!! Or if you got a pick of reverse staggered go for it.

I know this isn't the look you're going for, but here is a luxury staggerred offset wheel combination. 8" wide in the front and 9" wide in the back. No, I don't care about rotations and such. Not built for that. Like it or hate it, it's still my car and I like it.

Here is some extreme stuff I know will get hated cuz most of you won't understand it. But I think it needs to be seen. I'll be there eventually and everyone will hate it until I start winning mad trophies and then it will be the "in" thing to do.

WHAT IS UP WITH THAT CAMBER!!?? I need to see more pics, and anyone ever run the tires reversed, just for drag purposes? and dav I think that its retarded that you wasted post space, im looking for my wheels to fufill their purpose.
wasted post space? last time i checked, its okay to express an opinion
why dont you just get a lightweight wheel and good tires? you act like our vehicles have major traction problems. yeah, the look of a staggered set up may look wierd to you because its something youd normally expect on a rwd vehicle, but at least it actually looks good even if you do it on a fwd car. when is the last time you saw any fwd car rollin with some 8 inch wide wheels in the front and 6 in the rear?

last time i checked the rules said post helpfull information, i wasnt asking "what do you think reverse stagged wheelss look like" so your comment is completely irelivent. AND HAVE YOU SEEN A TURBO BOX W/O traction problems. If you have tell me what kit they are running so i can stay away from it. As long as the rear wheel is flush with the fender, i think it would look MAJORLY HOT! not something you see veryofften, and judging by this thread size, im guessing you dont see it on boxes at all.
you didnt mention anything about you being turbo'd.
youre probably right about not seeing it at all. like i said, i think it looks ridiculous, as well as the majority of people on here (my opinion). it would be like seeing a "street" fwd drag car.
if all you want to do is fill out the rear wheel well, it shouldnt be hard. 7.5 inch wide with 40 or lower offset i think would be just about right. the front wheels already stick out further than the rear. dont know the technical term for it... adding to that, just wouldnt look right imo. im on 16x7's, 40mm offset with 10 mm spacers (to clear the brakes) and the wheels already stick out almost to the inside of the fender.
maybe im not into racing as much as others, but if youre boosted, or just making enough power, and you need traction, get drag radials. but maybe i have a "keep racing on the track" kind of mind.

hmm, not only looking to fill out the rear, but, i guess your right, it would be difficult to have a lower offset in the rear fill the well like i want it. I mean, i think it would be sweet as **** to do, but i guess its not that possible; with out looking bad that is. Not turbo'd yet but thats soon to come, so im just looking towards the future.
you would normally not runa narrower rim but a narrower tire size. It's common in Japan to run a slightly taller and narrower tire on the back of a FF or AWD platform for high performance handleing purposes. Otherwise match'em or go a little wider on the rim on back. but 7.5 wide and +40 offset would not flush a rim tot he fender on the back of an xB. I'm 9 wide on the back with a +20 offset. so 1.5 inches narrower and 20 mils further set in would not flush the rim to the fender.
slightly taller tire on 002's would be a problem no? o ok ic haha stupid me. well ya that is not exactly what i call filling the fenders. jim, switch yours wheels around for me! *wink wink* also whats your wheel total wheels setup.
