My best friend with his Dodge Dakota RT and me with the green machine hit up a parking garage last night to take some pics with our new rims.

I'm still trying to figure out how to take night pictures so please excuse the few that appear "fuzzy"

The Dakota has a set of CCWs. Really nice rims. 19s in the front and 20s in the rear and rear tires on his truck are 335/40/20s and they are HUGE!

 

nice.. gotta throw some props to peeps back home in VA....

Nah it needs to be lowered more. It has a 2" hotchkis lowering kit on it right now. Could take another 2" no problem.

Nice shots. But if you dont want them to come out "fuzzy", a tripod is your best friend. Or at least a monopod.

 

I was using a tripod. I just think that I need to learn the settings of my camera a little better because some came out a lot better than others. (I left the bad ones out of the post)

 

Oooohh......

Sometimes even with a tripod you shake the camera just enough. Or your camera might be compensating for the dark spots by raising ISO speed. I get this problem alot with my point&shoot.

Either way, you got some good shots. Envy green looks hot under the lights:

 

oh damn. el jorge, your pic is awesome! and thanks for the tip. The ISO was set to 400...but I know I was able to make it even slower before (800 I believe)...couldn't find that setting last night though. My camera has the P A S M settings and I know how to adjust them and a little bit about what they do but I cannot find any details on what each setting is or does.

 

No prob bro. And trust me, the night shot thing can be frustrating.

Not to get off topic, but this is my R/T. The wheels are 20" Intros. These pix are really old, when the bags were getting done. I am about to tear it down again and go through the whole truck.

 

damnnnn that's awesome man. not too many people do extensive body work to the dakotas...yet alone bag them. you have any pics of it finished? or did it stay a primered mess like my s10?
