Default Rims for an RS4

So I'm gonna be buying an RS4 when it comes in, and I'm looking into rims. I really like the multi-spoke designs, and I really like the SSR Defi's. I wanted to try and get something similar to that. I was looking at random sites today and came across www.billetspecialties.com and I kinda like a set I found on there. What do you guys think?

I want positive and negative feedback, but I hope for constructive. If you guys have any suggestions that fit my multi-spoke desire(I'm digging the Axis Alpine as well), feel free to throw some names out for me. Thanks.

Those wheels will be different. I don't know what size rim and tire you will be running but they will bend easy if you hit a pothole. The upkeep of billet rims would also be a drawback for me. Expect to put alot of elbow grease into those rims to keep them shiny.

you box will have that lowrider truck appeal to it with billet wheels. Wheels are a very personal thing. It looks like good quality wheels, so I say go with it since you like it!!

IMHO that is the most important thing.

Save yourself some money, and buy a set of Intro wheels instead. I have a contact over there if you are interested. They are custom built to whatever fitment you want. And despite the load of crap "championjeep" was spewing, billet wheels do not bend easily. They have forged hoops and centers. Much stronger and lighter than almost every cast wheel on the market.

Intro also offers custom finishes. Including a clear coat which makes them much easier to maintain and keep clean.

Anyway... here is an intro wheel almost identical to the Billet Specialties wheel you are looking at...

Also, anything from this page can be built to fit an xB...

Some of their exposed series wheels can work with 4 lug as well, but the selection is limited. And to see some styles from Intro's new wheel line check out...

If you find something you like, PM me and I'll give you my guys contact information.

I'll keep those in mind when I get my money all squared up for everything. After I get the car, I've got it planned as to what goes on in what order. Thanks again.

I still think the 18" TRDs are still the "perfect" xB wheels.

Yeah I'm bringing this post back for a bit.

My box should be here tomorrow and if all things go well, I could have it Tuesday at the earliest(I think). I was doing random searches for wheels, when I found exactly what I was looking for in the first place. I love the old school Caddy wheels with the 204 spokes and such, so guess what I found...

I'm considering calling up and asking about pricing and bolt pattern tomorrow before work. I'm not sure how the Razor Wire Gold's will look on it, but I'm considering the STD's. Yes, that is the first, and hopefully only, time someone is looking to get some STD's.

I think those wheels are hella tight. They would look awesome on your RS4. Props to you for doing something different with your box.

I was looking to get a set of wires for my XB, but after a lot of searching I found that most wires are made for rear wheel drive cars. Don't get me worng they do make FWD (+ offset), but they are harder to find and the ones that fit our cars are not deep dish(reverse/negative offset). You have to be carefull with the fitment also, becasue I've had alot of wheel companies talk about how there are problems with the backspacing. The wires usually end up hitting the break calipers. People do rock them though, so just have to make sure everything fits correctly. Also be careful of companies selling cheap wires. A lot of the smaller/cheap companies have problems with air leaks. Ask about a warranty policy, and if they only offer a 3 month I would be weary of them. I called dayton and had asked if they made wires to fit an XB yet, and they said that they're in the process of developing something that could be out soon after the new year. They could custom make something, but it'll run you $3000. Waaaaay to much form me! I've got a friend that'll be puting some on his box soon. I'll keep you updated on how it works out. As for me I'm going for these........

Not quite wires...but a similar look.
