Hmm, I'd like to find them because although I like my powdercoated Stull set quite a bit I still have to touch it up every once in a while.
I wonder what they use to coat the B-Cool grills?

Anyway, been thinking about blacking or tinting my billets from Putco. Might have to get that done this winter. Mostly out of SPITE!

My best idea thus far was tinted clear bra. Similar to RockBlocker et. al.s headlight armor or something. I just don't know if I will be able to do it clean.
Sorry for the threadjack.
Um, okay, being helpful. Does Fantasy Creations still exist? I wasn't able to find them the last time I looked. They were doing black stainless. Cisco had them on his spidermobile for a while. It had a ton of flake though. On the upside it didn't chip that I could see, but I wasn't looking really close.

What you really want is anodizing if you are going to have it done. I don't know how B-Cool Billets does theirs.

Anodizing is more chip and scratch resistant than traditional coatings like paint and powder coating. It is still primarily just a surface treatment. Even though it is bonded with the aluminum.
If you want to spend the extra coin, look for a place that will do "hard anodizing," This makes the part and finish coat even more scratch and chip resistant.

Just an FYI - many of you may know this. if you change to a grill taht has holes/vents in it, cabin noise will be pretty loud at highway speeds. I remove my girll sometimes since I have 4 horns mounted behind them and on the highway, this is loud as hell. I can assume that putting on a grill with holes in it will do the same.
here is a pic of how i drive around. going slow, up to like 40mph, there is not too much ADDED interior noise. go onto a highway like this is another story.

so when i know im going to use a highway (aka for a road trip, etc) i drive with the grill on. otherwise, it stays off so i can regulate on jerks that dont know how to drive.
