Default I need help with my rims!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok i have aske this 2 or 3 times before but today i took off my stock rims and just placed my konig 18" 7.5 with a 45mm offset on there and there is only less then 1/2 an inch bettwen the inside lip of the rim and the strut.

To me this dose not look good . however several ppl on here have said that i could get away with runing 7.5's with a 45mm offset without needing a spacer.

my ? is are they right? can i run thoses rims up front with out a spacer .

if not what spacer?

you think the front is bad, check the rears against the frame. dollars to donuts they're rubbing. I've got +45 and it was the biggest mistake of my box. I've now got project kicks spacers all around, 25mm in back and 15 up front.

That should be enough clearance there as that dimension should never change unless you are bending something...like getting hit in the side of a wheel by another car Well actually it can change slightly as the suspension is loaded but I really think you wont have clearance problems to the strut. Some other places like in the rear suspension or in the front the closest clearances are at full turn of the wheel might get very skinny. My 42MM offset 7.5 rims and 215/40/18 tires slightly rubbed the tow hook behind the wheel at full lock turn (left only). A few blows with a big hammer fixed that for me. Good luck.

fk-451's are a nice tire. 215/35/18 seems to be the norm for an 18" or 19"
Did you get spacers for your box? Your rim doesnt have to be a mile away from the strut. Throw a spacer in there and you should be fine if im not mistaken.
