Default Headlights for the xB, where did you buy yours?

I want the best headlight you can possibly get for our cars. I understand that the stock headlights probably put out the best light, but I think I want projector headlights with the halos. are these good with good light output? I read on here that the ebay ones suck and had problems getting really hot?? can someone clear up this whole headlight thing for one last time?

basically i want GOOD headlights with GOOD light output, preferably projectors w/ halos..but not necessary.

I'm thinking about buying a set of HID's that will fit into these headlights as well, so keep that in mind when making suggestion.

thanks,
Anthony

they seem so cheap.. $75-80 bucks for a set of headlights?

something doesnt seem right.. headlights for my last car were upwards of $1,000 for JDM ones, lol (subaru wrx)

i got them off e-bay but a tone of people sell the mcMulloch hid kit make sure you get the kit with hi/low and for h4 set up or you wont have hi beams. it was a plug in play kit. only thing i had to do was mout the ballest on a peice of nylon so it didnt ground out on the frame. dont mount directly to any metal.

As was already said the Sonars (do a search here on SL there are plenty of posts some with pics) are the lights to have right now!
The new halos actually light up real nice and even and the beam from the projectors has a good pattern.

As for HID's I recommend F1Spec I do sell them but I also use them and have had no issues!

No melting issues, you just run the relay harness so it does not put any extra load on the Sonar wiring, there are may folks running various Hid kits with no trouble at all in these lights..
