Default Opinions on these wheels? (5zigen fighter or typhoon 17's)

Alright, first of all i DID do a search on here and came up with NOTHING. So having said that

I've got a black box and was wondering how either of these might look on my baby, haha, so bring on ur opinions please!

5zigen fighters (i'm thinking about the 17"s)

OR

same wheel, diff finish. Anybody know of any boxes with these on it? those top two were the 'fighter's

OR even these ones, 5zigen "typhoon" 17"s, gunmetal black

thank you

With you having a black box, I would go with the silver finish.

If you like them all and can't decide, I'd get whichever can give you the lowest offset.

Otherwise, for a sporty/bling-ish look, I'd get the Typhoon in 17" polished silver. On the other hand, I'd get the Fighters (lightweight I think) in bronze in 16" for a stealthier/sportier look. So it depends on the look you are trying to achieve...

Alternatively, if you like 5zigen, you can try looking at Inperio s08 or m05. PM ScionVan for these in Scion fitment (+25mm offset). I think he has some on eBay in 16" and 17" for a good price!

Good Luck :D

Heyo,

I have the hyper silver typhoons on my xb. Youll have to run vans spacers shims or just regular spacers in back.

Here is a pic:

I like the first ones, but like was said, it depends on what look you're going for. I would go dark rims, smoked tails and minimize anything shiny. You could also go with one of the others and use the silver as an accent color.

How do you want it to look? The wheels are just part of the overall picture, IMO. A big part, but still just 1 of the parts.

This is true, well i've already got the TYC tails...i'm just kinda goin for one thing at a time..but now after seeing those typhoons, i'm starting to lean towards those....just taking my time in deciding, kinda a big (and pricey) decision.

Hey,

Those are the 17x7.5 Typhoons. Im running HKS coilovers right now. In the back, i never adjusted them down for the show. So i was driving around with a nice foward rake. I finally got around to it though...now i looks even.

Seeyas,
Matt
