does anyone know if the rear spoiler improves fuel economy or makes our xbs go faster??

 

the whole function of a wing is supposed to sit the tail end down when the air blows over it hence giving the rear better traction....the problem is the xb is fwd and thats where i am also confused as to if it has any advantages(besides looking cool) at all. from my understanding a fwd with a spoiler....the spoiler is useless or just a dress up

 

It makes a great towel rack when washing the car

 

AT least 10hp, especially when you put an exhaust tip on it bumps it up to 15hp.

Bingo! This is the correct answer. Since the wing does not really deflect air up, it doesn't add to traction. Some air is deflected downward to prevent dust from being caught up in eddy currrents and collecting on the rear glass.

But looking cool is an excellent reason enough for me!
