Hello everyone,
I finally finished the grill that hattrick ever so kindly gave me. It still needs paint but the hard part is over. I just can't decide on using the emblem or not.

off, but something doesnt look right, did you bolt the grill all the way in? It looks crooked and theres awful gaps where it meets the bumper and hood.

 

the grill is deffinately crooked, it looks good with the emblem to me, where can I get a grill like that?

 

btw, i don't even know if i would paint it

 

Yea I just noticed it's crooked. I must not have pused it all the way down.
I made the grill from an OEM grill.
Tools,
Dremel, Metal Shop, and lots of patientece.

I'm thinking of making some other grill designs and posibly selling them. I don't plan to repoduce this one though.

Just so everyone knows, I cut out the scion on the badge. I planned to backlight it along with all the grills. Mabey that will change some minds.

 

i like with the emblem.....and sama as above,where can we get one?

 

I need a grill thats like that because the current one reflects the sound from my siren back into the cab and I like the idea of keeping an emblem on my grill, and the siren speaker hidden behind an open grill

 

Just curious what people would be willing to pay for this grill. I can make more but I don't know what to charge. I can make them ready for paint. I wont paint to match and would probabley require a swap of the oem grill.
Let me know.

I will post more pics when it is finished still have some more detail work to do on the metal and some spot filling.

no likey, straight up billet top to bottom would be better imo.

 

I like the emblem.The grill doesn't look finished without it.

I vote for with emblem. Might be cool to slightly recess it as well.

 

i think whether or not u keep the emblem depends on what look ur goin for on ur xb. it does have a more vip feel w/o

 

Nice grill. Looks better with the umblem on.

 

I think it looks better when its off, but....when you see it when its on, it almost looks like something is missing when its off.
