Default Lower offset wheels recommendations

Does anyone have a recommendation for a lower offset wheel for the Scion xB? I want to stay with a 15" or 16" low-weight wheel. I would like to go to 7" or wider, but I don't want to get into rolling fenders and camber. My wheel and tire goal is more performance-oriented than for looks. I want to bring the wider wheels more flush to the fenders, for a wider stance and better handling due to the increased surface area.

From my calculations, a 7" wide wheel with +25mm offset would bring the wheel 0.11" inches closer to the center of the box, and 0.89" farther to the outside.

Does anyone have any measurements for the front and rear on how much room is left on the inside before hitting the suspension or other parts? In addition, does anyone have measurements for the outside before hitting the fenders/body work? I am not lowered yet, but will probably go with Tein S Techs in the spring. If you have a suggestion, please post pics if you have them. Thanks for everyone's help.

I checked that post and I have seen it before. He did have rubbing issues so he had to put on spacers. Any idea what the weight of those wheels are? Thanks for the link.

Does anyone else have any suggestions maybe in a 7" or 7.5" wheel? One more question came about from looking at the Axis OldSkool posts. What is involved with using longer bolts if I had to use spacers on a wheel? At what point will I need to use longer bolts?

40 mm is a high offset. My goal is to fill out the fender wells/wheel wells without getting spacers. Anyone else?

true but its only 2mm offset more then stock but if you want to fill the fender wells/wheel wells then i would go with Sportmax. http://www.sportmaxwheel.com/sportmax_002.shtml or axis wheels http://www.fujiz.com/index.php?page=...pshop&Itemid=6

I just saw some 16" Rota slipstreams on ebay that might fit your needs. They were 16 x 8 with a +20 offset. I was thinking about getting a pair myself. I think 18racing.com is selling them on ebay, but you could also order them direct from 18racing for $585 shipped.

Now that is the kind of suggestion that I am looking for. However, from my calculations those wheels will come out an additional 1.59" from the stock location. Does anyone know if I would have rubbing issues with the Slipstreams mentioned above?

you will probably have to roll your fenders depending on how much of a drop you plan on doing.

As posted in the original post, I don't want to do any crazy modifications such as rolling fenders or camber. Let me ask this specifically...does anyone know of 7" or 7.5" wide wheel that has an offset between +25 and +30. Based on my calculations, I think that will fit.

with that offset you should sit perfectly flush. I doubt youll have any issues. If any, a SLIGHT roll of the rear fenders would cure it but I still think it would sit fine.

The Axis Oldskools are 15x8, +25. That's about as close as I'd be able to get. The Drag DR20s are wide but have a high offset, you could run spacers and get the look you're going for. I believe the Konig Rewinds are +20.
