Almost but I'm actually looking for the step by step process on doing the retro fit with the usdm base.

 

Um, I don't think there's a walkthrough.

I did mine just by taking everything apart and seeing what needed to be trimmed. You will need a dremel or a hand file (and a TON of patience if you go that route) to remove the little detent bits on the stock pieces.

It really wasn't TOO hard. The worst part was breaking a mirror trying to figure out how they clip in. Once you get that mirror off you can see where all the screws go and stuff and you should be able to do it.

Just go slow with that dremel.
