Default Billet Grilles for the xB

Hello ScionLife Forum Members....

I'm Glenn and I run www.mytightride.com

I wanted to find out from you folks...what mods are you looking for? I used to sell the xB billet grilles

http://www.mytightride.com/scion-xb-billet-grilles.html

....like hot cakes, but I rarely sell them now. Have they lost appeal? I'm just wondering what you folks think.

Thanks much,
Glenn M.

I think people are starting to look for something that stands out. And the billet grilles are getting to be common. I think we need something diffrent then horizontal bars.

I am looking for a mesh grille...the horizontal looks a lot like the factory one to me..although the bottom ones look better than the black honeycomb.

I think that if your pricing was a lot lower, or you sold the highest quality product you would get more sells. B-Cool Billets quality exceeds that of T-Rex in the xB application. The grills can also be had for less than your price on the T-Rex.

Personally, I think they are great!... As long as it's not that really thin cheap looking stuff. In other words: NOT like the kind you can pick up at auto zone or checkers.
I would like to see something stamped. With a choice of having it in powered coated black.

Hmmm how about a billet grille with verticle bars. (I have had a couple people tell me they want to do that but have no product to buy...are they the only 2 ??? who knows). I have T-rex billets in my XB, they are very nice once they are modified for a good fit. The design should be fixed so they sit flush across the bumper instead of high in the center like the one on the gray Xb you posted above. The dark red car the grille must have been modified at the center mountings in order to sit better. I removed the 2 tabs that are supposed to screw the grille to the bumper in the center so that it could sit even across the bumper. Given the price of the T-rex and the installation issues I am not surprised that people are buying other grilles (but I wouldnt trust some dime store $100 grille myself)...the quality of the T-rex is extremely nice except for fitment issues.

A high quality mesh grille different from other market offerings could be interesting also. So many of this type grille use the same cheapo hardware store mesh attached to some framework either well or poorly. Stainless might be cool

Ive been looking for the lowers ones in billet but powdercoated black. B-cool makes them but I tried calling them on the phone and their customer service was not too great.

I would love to have a set of those but not for anywhere near that price.
