Default Strut Bars

question about the strut bars.

my friend is trying to sell me his dc upper strut bar.
I was wondering if any one has had this installed and noticed that it indeed helps with handling.
That it actually does something.

anyone has one installed on their xa or xb?

I dont know what his answer was, but the front strut brace doesent do a whole lot unless your really pushing the car. The strut towers are integral with the firewall on these cars making them pretty tight to being with the in the front, but regardless it does def help at HIGH speed cornering. I would sugest doing the front sway bar links, much more bang for a 15 dollar mod and its notcieable at low speed too.

It just finishes the gap left between the 2 towers. When hitting bumps and hard cornering it eliminate the flex that happens and makes it feel more connected and solid. Also do those endlinks and you will be happy camper up front. The rear will meed the monroe 5987 shocks and either the TRD, Progress or Whiteline rear swaybars to finish the handling aspects of the xB.
