Default Leaning to the left

I have an 06 xB with stock everything(Unfortunately), but it has a noticable lean to the left. I checked with a ruler and the left side rides an inch lower than the right. Any clue what this could be? Do I need to lose weight?

If you are the only one who is regularly in the car, then I guess you could have some settling of the leftside springs.

i've notice it too when i was running stock and with s-tech springs. it leaned like about half to one inch. but i don't have that problem anymore because i'm running coilovers which i can adjust the driver side a little higher. but they have to be coilovers with lower adjuster mounts so it won't change your shock travel.

Try swapping out the springs from side to side. It might correct or make it less noticable.

wow. inch difference? wow.

WOW

i'd take it in(to a dealer for warranty work on SOMETHING). an inch is not right.

1/4 - 3/4 happens . 1/4-1/2 is very common. but a full inch? wow. just wow

But is it worth the risk of a stealership visit? I'd pay someone to just swap out the springs before I'd risk that. Unless you really trust your dealer. Could be just unlevel ground. Try remeasuring it facing the opposit direction and see if it's the same.

if his car is stock . i'd def try it. worst case is they try and make you pay for a diagnostic.

what i'd do is go to the service writer and tell it exactly like it is. 1 inch difference in ride height side to side. and take him out and show him. that way you know he's not gonna charge you to look at it . if it doesn;t look right to him.

Sounds like a good plan. All they can say is no and then you go to different dealer.

this is very common with all cars since most people do drive many miles with the driver solely in the car. mine does it too. the majority of people dont even notice it when the car is stock height because the fender isnt so close to the tire (not to mention they hate the height of the car and are just waiting to lower it). after the car is lowered, it is easier to tell because the sits lower and naturally, when you lower the car, you are going to be checking it out. very common. some people put a spring clamp on the passengers side to more than even it out, drive for a month or so and take the clamp off. it sucks and is ghetto to do it, but driving lopsided is no less ghetto. have fun!

Things like this is why they have that Scion customer hotline number. Complain and let Scion straighten it out. That is just wrong. I wouldn't have paid anything cause the didn't find nor fix the problem. Even if they fix it you shouldn't get charged for warranty work!

yeah then somethign was wrong and it should be warranteed

call toyota/scion cust service complain about the problem , and your experience at said dealer. then go to a good dealer.

sounds like the pedal just needed to be adjusted or there is a faulty pressure plate.

Sounds like a very good diagnosis hotbox. Get it looked at before the clutch gets completly toasted. pun intended.

i did let them check, but freaken thing didn't do it when they was checking it. hated when that happen and peeps think you just overly concerned. i brought it home the next day. next morning i started it up and the problem started again. i did notice that it happened for the first 10 minutes than it stops. after about 10k it stop doing it. but pretty much my clutch is burnt from too much racing and down shifting. can you say 80mph down to third

the cars at the dealer right now. (Has been for 2 days) and they claim it'll be finished Thursday. They didn't say what they would try, and I've called and they haven't even looked at it yet. We'll know tomorrow. Hopefully.

That's ridiculous that it sits there for 2 days and they did nothing. Did you make an appointment to have it fixed or just drop it off?
