Default ebay vs name brand (which?)

i've come acrossed products that recently bought or want to buy. i just want to know what you people think about ebay products and name brand products. ebay is cheaper of course, but is it the same quality? to me the product looks the same and made with the same materials just not name brand. just like over the counter genericdrugs, but i'm not calling them generic parts.

You are asking the million dollar question. I have bought alot of my items on ebay. What I have gotten there has been ok, mostly. Often the part that looks the same is the same. The only problem is that it isn't always the same:/

I've purchased a lot of stuff on e-bay and most of the time you will have to do some slight modification to get parts to fit. If you have some fabrication/metal working experience then you will have no problems with e-bay. But if you just want the parts to fit right out of the box, pay the extra and go name brand.
