YO! well yesterday i got my tails smoked and decided to go ahead and remove the backseat, spare tire, cooler, etc. and i think that my car got quite a bit quicker. i'm not sure how much weight was actually removed, but everything is gone. i'm planning on putting in my "jungle gym" after CHRISTmas sometime, but it's not too high of a priority.
i pretty much just did it so i wouldn't have to drive people around (yet that's messed up) but i'm no taxi. and it looks dope!!! well any comments are appreciated, just thought i'd share it with the homies on SL.

ps. will this jack up my car? because there is no weight in the rear?

It might alittle bit cause of the lack of weight. Great idea on turning it into a 2 seater to avoid taxing people around. I don't blame you a bit. I've had bad experiences letting people get in and out. They tend to do damage to the doors and jams. Not to mention the interior.

YO! well it's noticeable for me, but i got braces in my rear that take up that space, so I THINK IT LOOKS DOPE, but others (like yourself) probably think it looks like "a s s" but TO EACH HIS OWN right? but c'mon don't hate on me for just stating that i like it better w/out my interior.

i get putting bars throughout the empthy space but having some parts carpet , some bare metal , some door panel it looks funky to me. a car need to either be fully stripped or keep all paneling and seats and MAKE the bars fit with them in place

 

I get what he did. It looks like an unfinish rally car. I've seen those on TV and even tho they are stripped they look HOT.

yeah but the honest truth of the project wasn't to just gut it for the looks, it's so i'm not the local taxi, because everybody thinks that because the box is roomy, i can pack a shiiz load of people in it (which i could) but then no acceleration. THANKS [hotbox] btw... do you hotbox your box?

nah. i have smoked many times never gotten high.

it's just cause it's a hot looking box. and the 05 is for 2005.
