There are very few that brave into that territory. Sometimes just because you can do it doesn't mean you should. IMO 18s and 19s are the largest you can run safely on a daily basis.

It's great if it's for show but for daily duties it will be a headache. I've just gotten 18s and wonder how they will be compared to my old 17s.

For the record... if you haven't done some seriously exhaustive research on sites like this one... You have no idea what you are getting yourself into to lay out an xB on 20s.

Default 20" Wheels

Man there is a real lack of experience on 20's out there.

I've been on 19's, TRD RH Evolutions, on Pirelli P-Zero Nero 215X35X19 since day one back in April 2004....and love these. I switch to the stock steelies on winter tires for snow in downtown Washington DC (some hills here) and can't wait to get back on the 19's. My son has been looking to go up from his 17's on his 2006 tC and I've been preaching, "Go to 20's!".

My 19's only rub (with TRD lowers springs) in the parking garage on full stop turns (that's rubbing harmlessly on the front wheel well plastic inserts where they overlap and stick out in the middle of the wheel well).

I'm pretty convinced that the several Tire & Wheel Bundle sites, that carry 20's for Scion xB's with their 4X100 studs, with their tires at the 225X30X20 size would be relatively the same size as 19's with 215X35X19 (that middle number is the sidewall height).

Just don't have the bucks due to Christmas...and will wait.

20's are do-able, but if your a MT4L... you might just get a kick out of this.

20x7.5 with 225/35/20s.
This is my buddys ride. Bodydropped, sorta.... Kinda hard to say that about a unibody.
Its crazy though. Should be done this spring.

The 225/30's are a dream come true compared to the 35's though.

(Those wheels we're on my B) Not quite as low though LOL....

The whole rear is hacked out and he has built a straight axle with a reverse triangulated 4 link. In the front he has raised the strut towers. At least that is the basics of it. From what I can remember from a couple pictures several months ago.

Hmmm... I wonder if he did the old Top Notch Customs (a.k.a. Kontrol Phreaks, a.k.a. KP Components) trick that they used on the old Civic back in the late 90s, early '00.

I'll be interested to see it when he makes the public debut.

Ha, 20s are just like riding on 15's..... .with a vvery small tire...

i like em, my cars a daily... looks great on the car, a friend even calls it a little toy because of how the car sits on the wheels... i only rub when i turn the steering wheel more than 1.5 turns at a slow speed, but normally its a good deal....
