xB + Drop= Winter Woes?
Well im super close to ordering a set of projectors from Bbist but lookin into some Tein springs as well. Really want the S-Techs but dont know if this is a realistic idea w/ ohio winters. I would rather not follow up christmas by f@&king my car. How bad is it gonna be??? If you have a dropped box that has survived the snows post up
Had a Honda Accord, Scion tC and Scion xB - all lowered, ranging from 1" to 2" drop. You really wont have any problems unless you have some sort of bodykit. I have the TRD's on the xB. The S-Techs are only half an inch lower. You should see no problems whatsoever besides just driving around being concious that your car is lowered... good luck!
well, we've gotten more snow here recently than anyone can remember, and I'm _ok_ on tanabes. Of course, I wait until the streets are plowed (that's a total joke this year!), and take it easy, but I'm doing allright.
I'm dropped and have Pirelli Tires. Not a good combo in the snow. The drop works as a snow scoop and the tire will not grip. I haven't driven in three weeks but you have heard about the weather here in Colorado, right? It wasn't like this last year at all.
my xB has been dropped for over a year on s-techs, mine settled to a 2" drop, drove it last winter in the blizzards and all on stockers, no roblems at all, xB handles great in the winter, just try not to hit a snow bank or anything, that's the only way you will have a problem, and i live in the mountains too, so there was no problems despite that
well i have the x2 kit which dosent sit lower than stock. dont think im gonna get a lower lip or body kit any time soon. glad to hear i isnt that bad
as for colorado, yeah i hate the winter up here i cant imagine how u feel. maybe u should do one of those handicaped accessibale xBs so u can wheel ur snow blower in and out of it

i actually got better tires to handle all waether conditions, but northeast hasnt gotten much snow, (i havent driven in snow that stuck, yet, this season) so i dont know how my new tires perform yet

No snow here but Air Ride would allow me to get in my driveway without my 2X10's
