Look familiar? They're macncheese's old wheels, featured in the first scionLife calendar. I was getting Drag DR20's but couldn't pass up these British Revolution RFX's 15x8, 18 offset, optional diamond-turned lip. Possibly the only set in the U.S. I'm told... I've seen Schmidts that are very similar but not another set of RFX's like these.

Pretty beefy, eh? I have new silver Muteki lugs to replace my rather gnarly old red ones BTW, will be on tomorrow.

I actually like red lugs too but these are kinda faded, almost pink in the sunlight. And the silver is more euro old-skool, the look I'm going for.

Great look... do you know if any other wheel manufacturers sell something similar in that size? I love how they make the xB look "stocky", like a beefy stance.

 

Tunershop.com sells the Schmidt ModernLines in 15x8, different finish (all painted) and offsets tho.

 

Looks great against the TCM paint. Glad I could get those wheels to someone who will really appreciate their uniqueness. Keep me updated on that retro idea you had with them....think that would look pretty sweet!

Get Monroe Sensatrac shocks/struts and a slightly smaller-than-stock tire diameter, and viola!
I actually don't have the front struts on yet, but just those alone drop the car another .5" in front.

 

i have the monroes only in the back. looks like i need the fronts too.

 

I noticed you're running a staggered 195/50 - 205/50 combo, too.
Those fronts must spin like snot when you get on it!

 

Actually the 205's are in the front
Not the origional intent, but less rubbing that way. When i finally get fender rolling in back I'll switch em up like they should be.
