Default xA: Have Tanabe DF210's...Update!Installed Progress with pix

Hi All,

So I got my progress sway bar and installed it today...I must say that this was the most easy install I have ever done, it took me about 10 minutes. Pics are below!

Thanks,
Jim

I'm not lowered yet, but I just put the Progress bar on yesterday. It is totally worth it. It's a 20 minute install if you have to remove your wheels (I did) otherwise, the bar went on in five minutes. I can't express how much it does for the handling. I got mine off ebay for 140 shipped. Ptuning.com also has it, but it wasn't in stock when I ordered.

Confirmation given.

You'll be pleasantly surprised at the handling change from such a simple bar.

I have the DF210's on my xB and I'm curious if I'd need to gete the bar installed. I posted a thread about some steering vibration issues I've been having...would you think this bar would have anything to do with improving/decreasing that?

The Progress rear bar improves body roll/stability. It will not cure any vibration problems that you may be encountering.

Next steps would be the Monroe rear shocks (#5987) and any of the 3 rear sway bars ( Progress, TRD or Whiteline). Don't forget the Energy front end link bushing upgrade. (under 20 bucks)

get the progress rear sway bar, its an awesome piece that will greatly improve handling. As for the chassis brace that should go right after the sway bar. Its what i did and little by little my car has become a track train. It seems that it rides on rails.

I heard that the under brace is fine as long as you aren't lowered. It drags the ground on lowered xBs in some instances.
Unless you are doing serious track time you will be golden with the rear bar, strut bar and lowering springs.

The bushings can be had from autozone. They come with all the washers. Only thing you need to get is some 4" grade 8 bolts and nylock nuts. Then replace the stock front swaybar endlinks with the new parts. There is a whole thread on it but don't have the link at the moment.
