Default Concerns about replacing OE wheels with TRD's

If anyone wants to throw in their two cents, please by all means it would be a big help.

Okay, I have stock 15 inch hubbies on my '06 XB and would like to throw on a set of TRD Racing Hart wheels (18x7.5) with 215/35/18 tires. Since I'm going to run on wider wheels, is a ABS sensor and wire bracket required? I hear bracket provides protection of stock rear ABS sensor wires when running wider TRD tire and wheel package. I wouldn't want to void my warranty for nothing. Is this a must? If so, I would like to hear from others who have done what I want to do and what measures would I have to take in order to make this an easy transition. Again, 411 on this matter is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance to all my XB colleagues! Peace

i have the TRD package from the dealer, and i'm also currently running the stockers for winter, but as far as i know, they didn't mention anything about the ABS sensor and wire bracket.
i would think to not worry about it ?

Which one of the wheels came with the car direct from the dealer, stock hubbies or the TRD's? Because if your ride came with the TRD's then it probably came with the wire bracket. I don't know. But thanks for your 411. Peace

The bracket comes with wheels (I believe). That's why they stopped selling the wheels for a while because the sensor would get in the way of the wheels and there wasn't anything to get the sensor out of the way of the wheel. Where are you getting ur wheels from and how much? I've wanted to get these ever since I got my xB. But they're a little pricey.

Thanks you guys. bBlover, I bought them from a gentleman in Redondo Beach, CA back in December of '06. I agree, they are pricey but they're, in my opnion, the best wheels for the XB looks wise. I have no tires as of yet but hopefully soon because I'm getting tired of the idea that my wheels are just sitting there and not on my ride.
