Will 225/40/18 fit on the TRD wheels? How will they look?

Will 225/40/18 fit on the TRD wheels? How will they look?

I wanted to put 225/40/18 tires on my XB that has the 18" TRD wheels on it. I currently have 215/35/18 on it. I need to replace the rear tires and wanted to know if anyone has put 225/40/18 on their car. Any pics or suggestions would be appreciated. Would it look appropraite for the front tires to be 215/35/18 and the REAR to be 225/40/18?? Should i put spacers in the rear? Car is not lowered. Thank in advance!

they will fit they will not look good.

i think 215 is the max recommended width of tires for 18s

Yes, upgrade to 215/40's but not 225/40's. They will be too tall and wide. My next tires for the TRDs will be 215/40/18 just for the added sidewall thickness.
