Default opinions?

how do these look to you all? for Shadow Mica or Gun Metal grey xB body color.

i was hoping for 5 spoke but the 7 seems to look pretty nice.

size is 17", tire configuration is 205/40--17. tire type is undetirmened, most likely nothing above VR i really don't feel like going much faster then 150mph...

i think they would look great. even better in 18. as far as tires, try kumhos. anything but nankangs.

what's the offset on those things? anything more than +42 is physically improbable, and +20 would look almost flush with the fender (with OTG in back)

they are actualy KYOWA rims, i'm nto sure of the offset i'll have to email the retailer about that, it doesn't seem to be present. the rim is found on victoriatire.com specified use for xB according to thier page.

and i made a mistake, they are 215/40--17

according to KYOWA's page, if i change the 4 lug to 5 lug i should be able to fit them just fine. says the 18" 4lug version fits just fine. needs to be 17" though, i'd like to have a full time spare in the back and an 18" may be just a tad too big, i'll look closer into it but i really believe i'll need 17s.

i've just find they are special order so you can specify your offset.

what offset look the cleanest on the stock... ish *incase i go for a kit later down the road*. i don't plan on doing anything with the body kit, i like the xB the way it is without any body upgrades beside carbon fiber replacements.

i don't want it completely flush with the sides, maybe stick out by... 5mm maybe? enough to realise that there are some tires there?

It's unlikely that you will fit a full size spare into the spare well...

it's very possible if it's 17"

the entire cargo area i have designs for already and should fit a good sized 17 with tire walls of upto 45mm just fine. only bad part is that it will be about... an inch and a half higher then it would be with the stock covers over the storage and temp spare, but it will fit just fine.

Yup. Just head south on Pearl to 6th, turn left and go to Jackson, turn left again and go to about 60th, and you are in my neighborhood.

The head of one of the local Scion clubs (http://www.teamascension.org/) is close by, not far off 56th and South Tacoma Way.

Take care,
Tom

If running 17's upgrade your size of tire to either 205/45 or 215/40. Most 205/40/17's aren't weight rated enough for the xB plus they are slightly smaller than the oem tires and make the speedo read higher than wanted. Plus the taller tire will give you better insurance against pothole damage.

Like Cherrybox said... Avoid the Nankangs at all costs. They are crap and are noisy as all get out. The Kuhmo 711's are the best bang for the buck.

PS, nice choice of wheel. Those will truely look sweet!
