Default Front Strut Bar Help

I was looking on ebay and there are some strut bars going for $200 where as others are going for $10 bucks. Is there a big difference between a better strut bar. The hotckis (or whatever) looks really nice and expensive then there are no name brands that look cheap. Anybody have any opinions on what to buy or why the price varies so much?

I've wondered that myself; I'm tempted to buy the $10 one and see if it's any good, but the saying goes "you get what you pay for..."

Yeah I hear ya, but I mean will I really tell a difference? Im not how do you say it "into cars really" I just want it to say I have it. lol. I cant tell the difference between most engine items. I think I just might go with the Hotchkis. Dont know yet though.

Default Front Strut Bar

As the owner of the ultimate $10 Ebay special, I wish I had bought a more attractive unit. Will it work as well? I didn't care, but now I am embarrased to see my spray painted (with dirt stuck in the paint) tower supports and my "Aircraft aluminum billet) crossmember. I won't lift my hood for anyone.

If you arent' gonna lift the hood for anyone... but I believe they all work

Thats what I was looking at. It looks a little week compared to the dc or the hotchkis. Thanks for the input.

I am going to move this to corner carvers because there are some who don't browse over here, from there.

Default $11.00 ebay special

I bought the $11.00 one on ebay from k2motor. It's not the most flashy brace, but it works and fits good. worth the $11.00, and I saved enough to buy a Hotchkis sway bar set

I just got that blue one that TRD offers... pretty dissapointed. It's mede with flimsy steel, and looks el cheap-o compared to the DC or Hotchkis.

Anyone want a good deal on a TRD brace?
