Honey, I blew up the RAV-4!

 

The front and back lights do remind me of some other vehicles, but overall, it goods look to me.

 

very true, not bad looking but the first gen looked better IMO.

 

i like it but 3 rows in that little thing.. looks like a mini 4runner to me i thought 3 rows in a 4runner was cramp

 

i really like the first gen. my bro has one and its not too bad in the third row.. granted its a bit cramped, its not too bad.. but hands down i like the first gen alot better

Reminds me of a hyundai / 4 runnerish rear end.

 

It looks to be much bigger than the first gen. This will not dissapoint the blue hairs who love these things.

 

The interior is a HUGE improvement. . . and it has the new Toyota truck grille theme.

The rear window gives the rear end a weird look, but I like it over all. Most importantly, it gives a nice seperation between itself and the mechanically identical Lexus RX

 

i like it! now if toyota does something about that sky high pricing they are known for having on the highlander, especially with the santa fe offering a very nice package these days!

speaking of santa fe, i kinda see the profile of the santa fe, the new mitsubishi outlander and the rav-4. overall a nice suv. now, about that pricing... lol

 

The interior is nice...............and that's about it. I still think the Saturn Outlook is a better choice when you compare it to the Highlander.

My mom has a first gen. I like the first gen better. If I just look at the 2nd Gen real quick it looks like a Buick SUV mixed with the Highlander.

 

What the hell is wrong with Toyota?

 

I'm going to have to wait until I see this in person before I come to a conclusion about the exterior styling. It definitely isn't the direciton I thought they would take it in, but the interior is really nice.

I wonder .... what type of plant is this in the windshield?

Perhaps a rubber tree?

I've never been a huge fan of the Highlander to begin with, kind of "soccer mom"ish to me. Granted this is coming from a guy who drives a toaster, lol. I think it looks like what would happen if a 4 runner got it on with a Rav 4.

It seems like a nice car, just not my style.
