enkei rsv 17x7 42 offset

Default enkei rsv 17x7 42 offset

The 42 offset is what worries me WILL IT WORK on a 205/45/17 falken 512

it wont be dropped with exception to the 1/2 inch with the monroe front struts

these are the wheels

i have 215/40/18's on a 7" rim et42. no rubbing and im lowered. shouldnt be a problem.

but why not run a 215/45/17?

thanks everyone

larry bird; the reason is that after much much research, I know 215/40 are much closer to stock rollng diameter and add more section width and better grip though at the cost of loss of traction in rain (read on some post here) or if going to big bear mountain; snow. Plus 205 are almost a pound lighter per wheel

the only thing I worry about is the 42 offset

I had 215/35 18s and 18x7 +45 wheels and they just barely grazed the one weld on the trailing arm on the right side, so with 3 less mm of offset it shouldn't rub
