Im going to drop my xb with the df210. My question is what kind of car jacks you guys

use to jack up the car cuz when i had my 240 i couldnt fit the jack under the car so i was

wondering if there smaller jacks that can fit under lowered cars. Or if anybody has car

ramps for lowered cars where did you guys buy them at.

 

They make jacks for lowered cars and racing jacks that sit really low too, but I've used 3 different jacks on mine and they've all fit under mine with no problem. They also make ramps for lowered cars or you could just use normal ones and use some wood to not make them as steep.

just use 2 X 4 's, works like a charm

 

My box is dropped on DF210s and I can't get any of the jacks that I have to fit under it. I have to use the OEM jack to get the subframe lifted enough to fit my jack (which is made for lowered cars)

 

I didn't have any problem with my jack, granted it had just enough room to get it out and I'm on DF210's.

 

What kind of drop does the df210 springs give you? Im on s-techs. Ive only had minimal problems trying to fit a jack underneath.

 

2.2" front....2" rear

 

I got a low 'racing' jack. I think it sits somewhere around 4" tall.

i use the crappy oem jack cause even the lowest of low jacks aren't low enough

 

i used to have to grab the bottom of the front fender and lift up while my dad put the jack under the car. i would lift it up just enough for the jack to slide under the car.

stock jack is the best option in all reality. or just 2 some odd inch drop you can use any "racing" jack with ease.

 

I found i jack at Wal-Mart, it sits 3.3 in high and will lift 17 in up. It is a 3 ton jack. I think the name was "BlackJack" it was about $85

i use the oem to initially jack it up, then use a standard jack, then pop the stands in

 

It's easier to just use some pieces of scrap 2X4s to drive up on then jack away. Just remember to put the 2X4s back under the tires before you lower the jack or your side skirts will suffer.

i have DF210s and ive always just drove up on 2x4s, and proceeded from there.

 

hey no prob, I am on a custom setup, and had to drive up on a brick and then used a reg floor jack, but this one works great.

 

Will, is that Ambres car?
