Default Front Drivers Disk Brake... help!

So my front-side drivers disk-brake is making some bad, bad noises. I first thought a rock was in there, so I washed the brake pad (and boy is it nice looking/smelling now, lol), and it didn't make any noise. Went back inside, did whatever, then later on I washed the entire car, and then WD-40'd the brake (both of them just cause).

Hopped in... drove and yeah, still bad. Not too bad when just driving, but when braking... oh man, forget about it.

So I'm guessing the noise means I need a new brake pad or what? How much do they run, and how easy is it to install?

Never under any circumstances ever use any type of petrolium product on your disc pads or discs..

take your pads off and get some brake cleaner and clean both your pads and your discs on both sides off real good...or you will soon create brake problems for yourself

Brakes are often moderatly hard to install, and a NAPA kit is pretty cheap, but if you want performance better pads will run you more.
