Yet another offset question - 15x7 wheels.
Ok, ive got an offset issue to deal with (like everyone else on here). Im looking at some rims that are 15x7 and either +15 or +38 offset. Will either offset give me that flush look without rubbing,? Im just looking for a wheel that I can run without modification or adding shims/spacers. What is that perfect offset for the front/rear? If those wouldnt work, how much of a shim/spacer would i need to get it flush?
I cant even think about how many times this has been gone over....
+15 in the front should be perfectly flush from my experience. +15 in the rear should be close to flush but not quite. The advantage would be you shouldnt have to roll your fenders much if at all. +38 will be way in on the front and even farther in on the rear. Go with +15.... ....What rims are you looking at?

those wheel even come in an offset like that?
With a 15 x 7 youll still want to add a 10mm spacer to the rear if you go with a +15 offset.
+15 offset on sportmax 501s sits almost flush and thats an 8 inch wide wheel...

supposedly they do come in that offset.
As for a drop, im on df210's
What size tire would get me to not rub. I know i would probably need to get a little bit of a stretched look correct?

Ive gone through 6 sets of rims myself and installed more than a dozen other rims on other xBs from personal experience. Thats how I learned what will work and what won't. Some people arent lucky enough have that much experience. Its frustrating to say the least...

it may be true that offsets on 15" rims are not listed. That may be because offset has nothing to do with the diameter of the wheel. once a person understands offset, they understand it, period. there's no more guesswork.
maybe it would have been different if you had just admitted you don't understand, and we could have helped you.
