Default Purchasing 18"s from Wheelmax. Need some information f

I've read some reviews on this company in this forum, and I must say they sound legit. My only quesition is this: I have an '06 PW xB. I am looking at 18"x7.5" HP Evo (HP Lightning on HP's site, only HP Lightning Chrome is called Evo.) And need to know what else I need to garauntee (sp?) the whole package.

I've heard anything from needing spacers on the rear wheels, to making sure that 18's won't rub. Now I've been driving myself nuts trying to gather all the info. I need. To top things off, I just read somebody mention "hub rings?"

Besides wheels and tires and clicking order, what do I need to know to ensure it's done right the first time?

1. Is the HP "EVO" in 18" available in a 4x100 bolt pattern?
2. If I decide to use spacers on my rear wheels to fill them out, what size do I need? How do they affect wheel installation?
3. Is wheelsnext right in saying they are ready to bolt on right out of the box? As in, bolt em up and ride out?
4. Do I have options with Wheelsnext for my tire size or brand? Is what they offer best for me? I wanna know exactley what I need before I call them so I know exactley what to expect. HELP!!

Thanks.

What is the offset?? 18x7.5 with a 42MM offset will just fit in the rear with nearly no clearance to the rear axle beam at the inside edge of the tires, front are fine except for maybe a slight touch at full lock turn, again on the inside. Any more offset will hit hard or not fit. I think around 37-38MM offset on a 7.5x 18" rim might be about ideal and a 42MM offset with a 10-15MM spacer might fit ok in the rear. I put no spacers on my 42MM fronts and 5MM spacers for just a bit more clearance to the axle in the rear. I am Bagged so when I drop it low I can not space in the front at all or I crunch fender, in the rear 5MM on my 42MM offset (dropping it to 37MM essentially) makes the tire just touch the body at the edge of the wheel opening near the front, when the car is lowered all the way (tire and wheel tucking in to wheel lip). For a drop of 2" or less I bet 10-15MM spacers could be run with 42MM offset wheels in the rear and maybe even in the front. If your offset is between about 32 and 40MM you should be fine clearance wise with no spacers.

Just ordered them. 18" HP Evo's in black w/chrome lip. Offset is 40mm and the rep told me that they'll fit and if they don't I can return them. (despite the no install return policy.) Hope all goes well.

If anybody out there is in the know, let me know if I'll have any fittment issues. Here's the low-down...

18" x 7.5" HP Evo's
40 mm offsett
I have no suspension mods, but I have plans to drop the box 2" or so.

yeah, I called them. I spoke with Miguel, extension 209. He kinda seemed like he knew whta he was talking about. But I'm always a skeptic (sp?) when it comes to ordering stuff I can't touch first. Just paranoid I guess. I've had bad experiences with e-bay and dealing with the internet in general, but I loved the price, and I got 2 years insurance for the whole set for (road hazard insurance, I'm sure it doesn't cover EVERYTHING, but I took it just in case.) for a hundered bucks. The wheels cost me 1099 with tires. Not too bad, really. So did your wheels really come ready to bolt up? Mounted and balanced, hit the streets and everything?

Yup these should fit just fine even with 215/40/18 tires and maybe even with 225/40/18's tho i do not think that big is necessary.

wheelsnext has good prices on there sets with the cheap tires. i called to get some better tires on some wheels and they wanted a crazy amount of money. so i went some where else and saved money. but if u dont care about what tires u have on your wheels then there good. i like buywheelstoday.com they have better tires

They fit fine. Bolt right on. They only rub when the fenders are lower then the tires
